Artists supporting artists

The Artists’ Legacy Foundation stewards estates of Legacy Artists, promotes new scholarship, and awards outstanding artists.

A Legacy Artist donates their artwork and archives to Artists’ Legacy Foundation for posthumous management.
Our Legacy Artist is Viola Frey.

Since 2007, Artists’ Legacy Foundation has granted more than $400,000 to painters and sculptors who have made significant contributions to their field and whose work shows evidence of the hand. Congratulations to Marie Watt, 2024 Artist Award Recipient!
